About Me

4D1B2766-2CA7-4AAC-AE46-A2E4D5E7870F_edi

I was inspired to train as a therapist during the 12 years I spent as a trustee of a counselling charity as well as through my own personal  experiencing of counselling, which I found to be profound and life changing.

I have a diploma in Transactional Analysis and am trained in Integrative psychotherapy, which in simple terms means I have lots of ways that I can help you make sense of what you're feeling. I have also undertaken additional training to work with children and teenagers.

Clients appreciate my ability to identify and analyse patterns and connections in their lives and my aim is to use my experience, training and curiosity to build a warm and effective therapeutic relationship.

Alongside my private practice I also work for a counselling charity, including within a school setting,

I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their ethical guidelines.

I will always be accepting and warm to people of all backgrounds and identities.

I undertake professional development training, which has included; Safeguarding, Cultural Awareness, Understanding Self-Harm and Trauma.
